Welcome to McMahon & Hill Bloodstock operated by Mike McMahon and Jamie Hill. We have been advising clients on their thoroughbred holdings since 2001, and in that brief time we have purchased 96 horses who would either win black type or become future stakes producers.
Included among these acquisitions are 16 graded stakes horses and 20 mares who have produced Graded Black Type runners after purchase, including the dam of Eclipse winner, KY Derby and Preakness winner Funny Cide.
We have clients active at the auctions, particularly at Keeneland and Fasig Tipton auctions, and we represent buyers at all levels. We pinhook and we race and we are proud to say that our average purchase costs less than he earns, an unusual statement to make for a bloodstock agency that buys as much as we do.
